Message clutch. Looked identical to your damage. Greg & Seb have mentioned that they have seen this commonly happen on the Southbend clutches.

So far my Stage IV Feramic is doing fine.

I also had my springs go on my RPS Max Street. Not impressed, and that was before my IPP motor went in. Not abused, just a few track days and some autoX in addition to daily driving.

The new SZ High 5 puck looks decent, and at the Canadian dyno day, the cars running that clutch (Meatman and 1990 tt) put down some awesome numbers. Quite streetable too.
